The story unfolds in a bustling European city, where we are introduced to our five protagonists: Daisuke, a quick-witted and resourceful leader; Kasuki, a compassionate and intuitive healer; Natsuki, a fearless and agile warrior; Hana, a wise and strategic thinker; and Akito, a curious and observant scholar.
After a thrilling chase by demon raptors known as Oni, they find refuge in the enigmatic high school, Kaleo. Under the guidance of the wise elder sensei Gamaliel, this unique institution is dedicated to training the guardians of the spiritual realm on Earth.
The guardians are named “white knights.” Their identities are supernaturally maintained in secret, and their power is passed on from generation to generation. However, the location of the actual white knights is leaked by someone, and they start being assassinated one by one. Their kids are rescued and sent back to this special school to be protected and trained, to take their parents’ place and ensure the protection of the earth. There, they discover the rise of an evil empire, self-titled “Bakowrah,” whose purpose is to use the resources of powerful nations to bring to life the evil supreme demon lord to conquer the earth for good.
